The story began in 2000 when the business was set up in Killingholme, North Lincolnshire with just 6 employees. The location, close to the Humber Bank industries such as oil refineries, power stations and chemical plants, was ideally placed to service the NDT needs of these industries.

TesTex clients now take us all over the UK and Europe and as far afield as Asia, Africa and even South America. The scope has expanded to applying skills to all industries where non destructive testing is needed, including oil and gas, chemical, storage, pipelines, food and pharmaceuticals.

In 2005 we opened a second European office in Lyon, France to service the French and European markets and the demand for services from the French office continues to grow.

Today the team has grown to nearly 50 and swells to even more during shutdowns as required. TesTex are able to carry out contracts from a simple one-man job to major shutdowns.

The core business remains NDT, but due to the requirements of clients, it has evolved into Project Management and Engineering, allowing us to provide one-stop solutions. TesTex also provide a range of additional services from partners and subcontractor arrangements, including tank cleaning, repair planning, mechanical repairs, rope access, safety cover, tank lining and UHP water jetting and shot blasting.
