Introducing the New Innovative, TesTex Asset Integrity Management System!

Laura Nelson2020-03-04T10:21:16+00:00

Over the last 30 years we’ve continued to develop our technology, techniques and training to the highest standards, meeting and exceeding customer expectations. An ethos which, since introducing our Asset Integrity Management Service led us to identify the need for a an easier to use, more innovative Asset Integrity Management system.

We wanted something with all the functionality customers would expect, but not as complex as other systems currently on the market. After consultation with customers, Integrity Managers and in keeping with our in-house AIM specialist’s advice, we set about creating our own highly secure and efficient system.

Creating the system

The first part of the journey was to create a project team. The team included in-house AIM experts and integrity managers. Trevor Richardson, is our AIM Lead and has over 30 years’ experience in Asset Integrity, he commented,

“We’ve taken our time, investing in the system to make sure what we’ve produced is in the best interests of those who are going to use it, including, plant engineers, plant managers, integrity managers and SHEQ executives. With over 30 years’ working in Asset Integrity Management I know the complexities of other systems on the market. We wanted something that made key information easy to find, with useful functionality such as text and email alerts when inspections are due.”

The system is ideal for planning, scheduling and audit trails with the functionality to create WSE’s RBI’s Work Orders and more.

All key information is easy to find and access, with useful features including email and SMS alerts for upcoming inspections, reports and work orders.

Our system has many benefits for customers, with the main intentions of speeding up processes whilst improving quality assurance (with in-built sign offs and checks throughout).

With all records stored in one place, customers can easily demonstrate an audit trail to the HSE and other regulatory bodies. Hosted on Microsoft Azure ensures a high level of encrypted security, with individual logons and defined user levels, giving customers a safe, quality driven system.

Want to know more?

This is an exciting project we hope will benefit those who need a reliable database that will satisfy all the requirements of current legislation including COMAH and PSSR’S.

We are currently demonstrating the software and are set to roll it out during March 2020.

If you would like to hear more about the project, service or software we’d be happy to discuss this in more detail or organise demonstrations at your plant/site. For more information please email aims@testexndt.co.uk.

Finally, we’d like to thank everyone who has supported this project so far.

All the best, TesTex AIMS Department.
